Summer bookmarks

Seaside themed bookmarks for an on time preparation for summer love readers. The Vertigo Rattlesnake sheet in combination with blue colors of StazOn give an excellent impression of the reflections that the sea makes under the summer making them perfect for a summer theme project.

The Vertigo sheets are cut in 2x6in pieces (one sheet makes 3 bookmarks) and colored with Stazon inkpads using a sponge dauber.

When the ink dries, stamp with the seaside stamps and the Imagine’s white embossing powder. Punch a hole and add an eyelet. Place some ribbon and marine charms and the bookmarks are ready.

Great minds, think alike, they say…..Mischelle Smith, from the Imagine’s artist in residence, also had the idea to make bookmarks using, what else than Vertigo sheets. Different and unique style and always absolute great coloring. Check Mischelle’s bookmarks in her blog and have the chance to admire her artwork that impress me every time.
