DIY necklace with simple scrapbooking materials such as spiral shaped hangers.
Turn the mini round hangers of 7gypsies into a modern necklace that can be altered further with beads. The number and the position of the hangers can be changed to match a different dressing look. It is very easy to make and you can choose what beads’ colors will best suit you.
Materials used
- 7gypsies Mini Round Hanger: Antique Silver
- Cord – Waxed Cotton – Black 45′
- H&CF Glass Pearls – 4mm Black #7703
- Jump rings
- Lobster clasp
Tools used
- Round nose pliers
- Flat nose pliers
- Glue
Decide how your DIY necklace would look like by firstly positioning the hangers on a flat surface. Then one by one either set together with a jump ring or by bending the hangers end. You can also intersect the hangers before securing. Add a bead in the center of the spiral with some glue and use a cord and jump rings and a lobster clasp for the finish.
You can replace cord with a chain and you add more metallic embellishments or beads.
