Fill the sea shells mould with light air dry clay and set them aside until they are completely dry. It is suggested to do that at least one day before using them so they are ready for the project.
Measure and mark 4 centimeters from every side of the mdf board. Set the masking along the marks creating a rectangular. Paint around the rectangular shape with white paint. As no primer is used, it needs more than one coats
When the white paint is completely dried, remove the masking tape and place it on the white now area to protected from the black paint on the following step.
Paint now the rest of the board with the black chalkboard paint. Two coats of paint are needed according to the instructions. Remove the masking tape.
Use a sponge foam brush to make light shades of the brown ink on the white border.
Cut a 30 x 60 piece of the hessian fabric. Fold and tie with some twine the one side. Using the hot glue gun, set the fabric on the board left side. Make a few plies to place the embellishments.
Use the stencil and the white paint to decorate 2 tags (one large, one small).
Glue some twine around the chalkboard paint.
Cut a small piece of white paper, roll it and place it in the small bottles. You can do the same with the big or fill it with small natural shells or sand.
Place, first the raffia, the twine and then follow with the rest of the embellishments. The charm bottles are set with a brad on the tags. USe some natural shells or small pebbles to decorate further.
Use the letter stencil and a chalk to write your message on the board. To adjust the letters, you can draw a line with a pencil.
