Colorful Paris is a handmade notepad with few materials to make. Adding color to one of my favorite papers without just filling with paint the designs on the papers was my initial target. Dividing the paper with lines and creating another layer on it was like distressing the designs and creating a stained glass effect.<\/p>\n

Materials used<\/strong><\/h6>\n

Tattered Angels \u2013 Baseboard Mist Paint \u2013 Gerber<\/a>,\u00a0Sunburst<\/a>
\nTattered Angels \u2013 Glimmer Mist \u2013 Emerald Green<\/a>,\u00a0Mardi Gras<\/a>,\u00a0Apple<\/a>
\nTattered Angels \u2013 Stained Glass Paint \u2013 Olive<\/a>
\nCanvas Corp \u2013 Black & Ivory Paris
\n<\/a>Clear Creative medium
\nBlack marker
\nBinding machine and wires
\nBookboard,\u00a0White pages
\nAluminium sheet
\nEiffel tower die
\nBlack cardstock<\/p>\n

Cut two pieces of bookboard in dimensions 5x6in. Cover them with the Black and Ivory Paris paper to create the cover for your notebook.<\/p>\n

Using a black marker and a ruler, draw lines on the covers, dividing the design into various sections.<\/p>\n

Color them with your chosen Tattered Angels paints.<\/p>\n

Use clear acrylic medium to cover the paper in order to secure and protect the colors.<\/p>\n

Embellish with Paris related die cuts made of an aluminium sheet and paper cuttings.<\/p>\n

Use your book binding machine to make holes in the covers and blank pages and set them up on a binding wire.<\/p>\n
