Handmade card featuring a martini drink for the national day of martini. The glass is made of paper and covered with Clear irRESISTible paint, while the content of the glass is made from Vertigo sheet and colored with a mix of StazOn Dove gray and Sunflower yellow inks.
Materials used
- StazOn – Dove gray, Sunflower yellow, Blazing red, Jet black
- Vertigo sheets – Breeze
- irRESTISTible Pico embellisher – Clear, Morocco
- Tear it! tape
- On Point glue
- SHIMMER – Clear
- Sizzix embossing folder
- Cardstock
Tools used
- Sponge daubers
- Craft knife
- Die cutting machine
Cut a piece of the Vertigo sheet and colored with StazOn inks.
Cut a glass shape for heavy white cardstock and glue the Vertigo sheet. Trim the excess of it.
Use the irRESISTible Clear paint to cover the entire glass shape. Let it dry well.
Cut a piece of white cardstock in about 2.5 x5in and spray it with the clear SHIMMER.
Stamp on the cardstock with the StazOn Jet black and the acrylic stamp.
Repeat on a transparent sheet and stamp the word Martini on white cardstock.
Using the irRESISTible pico embellisher, create an arrow an transparent piece of sheet and cut.
Place the martini glass on the top of the stamped text up to a point and then cut the the stamped transparent sheet to add the remaining text on the glass.
