StazOn

Creative Medium

Walnut Ink

Stencil girl Mimosa 6 Stencil

Heavy texture paste

 

Mix some Creative Medium Clear with the Walnut Ink Terra Cotta and with the help of a palette knife lay the mixture on Stencil Girl Mimosa stencil. Repeat the process around the canvas. When it dries, use a sponge dauber and create shades with the StazOn Timber brown inkpad.

Using a palette knife create a layer of heavy texture paste in an oval shape in the center of the canvas. Take the palette knife and strike lines with the Creative Medium Copper color and the Walnut Ink Terra cotta. Let the paste dry well before continue.

When it is completely dry, lay the Fossil Fish stencil and mix heavy texture paste with the Walnut Ink and the Bronze Creative medium and cover the stencil. Continue partially covering the stencil by mixing Creative Medium Bronze and Copper colors.

Working with these stencils, I had the chance to discover the artist of the Mimosa stencil, used to cover the larger part of the canvas, and be amazed of the stencil she designs.   3. That is a very interesting technique. I bought 2 canvas boards last time I was at a craft store. hmmm… might be my weekend priject!
